Default Adding a diffuser to a system

I've noticed several times now that when adding a diffuser to a system it takes somewhere around 10min to add it. I do know that some times they were part of another system bu even after disconnects or trying to remove it, I still get this unbelievable time to add. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

It sounds like you are not using the latest version of Revit MEP and that your default system has a huge amount of objects in it.
