I am trying to label the P.I. of my alignments with station and coordinates,
to be dispalyed in Plan View; which already have for the EC'S and BC'S
I have not been able to achieve this task.

You need to use an Alignment "Tangent Intersection" label. This is not part of the Label Set you can get by selecting the alignment and right-click -> Edit Alignment Labels... (I have no idea why).
Instead, it's found in Alignments -> Add Labels. You'll also need a label style. These styles are in Toolspace Settings tab -> Alignment -> Tangent Intersection. This type of label has the properties you need, such as "PI Extended Station".
is there a way to create a label set so that when i create an alignment, the PI Stations show up?? i am having a hard time figuring this labling out
thanks for any help
To repeat, the PI labels are not part of the Label Set you can get by selecting the alignment and right-click -> Edit Alignment Labels... (I have no idea why).
Wouldn't a P.I. be considered a "Geometry Point" under the Alignment label styles? Or are we just talking about the P.I. for curves?
Civil 3D handles them in a confusing manner, for some reason.
For some reason, Civil 3D only considers points that fall on the actual alignment to be "Geometry Points". The "Tangent-Tangent Intersect" in an alignment in C3D is basically an angle point.
The PIs we get on the outside of curves are, for some reason, not considered "Geometry Points", and are not included in Label Sets. Instead, you have to put those labels on independently of the Label Set.
I have always been confused by this, and cannot explain why the C3D designers chose to make it like this.
