    Default Exported Walkthrough

    Hi All,
We have just exported a walk through to an AVI file.
A part of our post production is to use this animation with some still renders to create a show reel.
What has happened to us today though is when the walk through is placed into the after effects program the background is removed. So in effect we have a model sitting in black space.

Has this happened to anyone before? Is there a setting we are missing in the export process?

Never tried it or worked with aftereffects but my guess is that it is reading the sky as transparent - like an alpha map with max. Could you not drop a white layer (or whatever you want your sky to be) behind it in AE.

Yeah, you are spot on. It is an alpha channel that does not translate to being compressed.
Have to use a different file type, which by the way, Revit does not export to!!!!.
