Another annoying undocumented subject

In toolpalettes, you can save the order the palettes appear in, but you can't save the appearance or order of descriptive text and separator lines. When tool palettes are shared they just seem to appear wherever they darn well want to. Why doesn't the workspace profile control this?

Tool palettes are really cool, but they haven't been revisited in years and these annoyances live on. Tool palette groups are another big issue for me, in a corporate environment. I wish tool palettes would finally get an update.

BTW, since the files are simply XML-based files, you can go into them and raw edit them to force the order.

Notepad if you are careful... XML Notepad if you need more structure

The Visual Studio editors do OK with XML editing as well.
