Default Grip issue with Dynamic block

I am sure this is basic stuff, but I am new to dynamic blocks. I am trying to get the top right grip to stay in proportion (location) with the block as it is being scaled up. Ideally I would like all the grips to stay in proportion, but really need to have the top right one. Can anyone help a newbie learn?

Have you added those parameters to the Scale action?

I do believe so. Perhaps if you take a look at the block and tell me the best way to have the sealant adjust size so that the lower left corner can be the base point and the top right corner can be where you stretch(scale) to fit in a certain space.

You could try adding a move action to the grip, I was going to try but I am still running 2009 here.

nice idea, but first i'd like to straighten out some issues for clarity.

one of the things that hinder some new DB tinkerers is one's "mental" constraints. (like centering a parameter on a circle)

what I see are good grips, but confusing locations. the important distance to me is the 'chord' length across your arc, but the scaling grip is behind the backer rod.

if this were a simple square, what you are doing is using the diagonal distance to manipulate the side length.

a good way to choose and place grips is to think about HOW it's used, and disregard the geometry.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.
