Express Tab Dissappearing

I got a good one here. I've recently moved to acad 2010 from 2005, and have had fairly good success bring in custom menus and such, including express tools. The problem is the tab for express tools shows up when you open autocad, but when I open a drawing that was created from 2005, the express tab disappears. I can open the cui and see the express tab and ribbon are there, it's just not showing up. Any feed back would be great.

Have you tried restoring the workspace?

Also, are you using a vertical product such as MEP?

Reselect your workspace. You did read that annoying InfoCenter popup on workspaces when you first ran AutoCAD 2010, didn't you?

It was a popup from InfoCenter that explained workspaces.

You can use the "gear" button in the application status bar to select a workspace.
