Default object field values scales with VP?

I have a block with 2 fields in it that call up a 2 lengths. they display correctly in model space but in the viewport they are multiplied by the viewport scale.

Short of exploding all these fields, how can i fix this?

    did you make them annotative?
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

no, neither the attributes or the objects are annotative.

I should clarify as well, only the field's values are scaling. the actual block is the right size.
