    Default Roof Problem

New to Revit, but how do I make this roof out of one roof? Right now it's two separate roofs, but I need to removel the roof area shown in the gable end. Actually, that roof goes through the entire room so it needs to be removed all the way through.

I've tried slope arrows, defilning slopes, joining roofs. Nothing is working. I'm sure it's an easy fix for you Revit pros.

Another issue i'm having is that the eaves of the gable roof aren't at the same elevation. When I offset one side, the plate line stays the same and the ridge of the roof moves. What am I doing wrong?

woO hOO!!! I figured it out. Thank God.

I'll try to explain what I did wrong. I had the eave of the hip roof lined up with the face of the gable roof. I guess it confused Revit. I put a slight offset in it and sketched my roofline, set my define lines and my slope, and it worked perfectly. Revit really does rock when you know how to use it.
