problem with google earth image

so i imported a google earth image using the coordinate zone (nad 27 utm 13) for my location but theimage is not in the correct coordinates there is a displacement of 300 mts the image is about 20000 x 20000 mts is this normal to civil 3d (google earth) or am i doing something wrong?

Are you using the google earth toolbar. As long as your drawing is setup with the correct Zone info then the google earth image should come in right where you want it. Google earth uses LL84 If i'm not mistaken and will do the conversion for you. Let me know if your using the google earth plugin or not. If not then get it! lol
