Area reinforcement tag problems

Anyone got any clue as to why the area reinforcement tag isn't showing E.F. (each face) and E.W. (each way)? I've only used area reinforcement a few times, and I've never noticed that the tag doesn't seem recognize those abbreviations, nor does it recognize that two faces have the same reinforcement. If i had some way to get in and look at how the tag was working, I could likely figure it out, but "Rebar System Layer Summary" seems to have some behind the scenes black magic going on that can't be touched.

By the way, this is in 2009. I also noticed that E.F. EW shows up if the reinforcement is the same on both faces and in both directions. But since that usually isn't the case with a wall, it's kind of useless.

I have been working with 2012, and am noticing something similar. I have the same bar size and spacing within the exterior layer of my concrete wall, and it lists it properly in the tag as, "15M @ 500mm E.W. E.F" but i have different bar sizes and spacing on the interior face of my foundation wall, and the tag will only list the size and spacing, but does not designate which bar size and spacing is for the horizontal and which is for the vertical bars. I have tried to modify the tag family, but am unable to gain access to "Rebar System Layer Summary"

Anyone else come across this?
