After a little experimenting, the embedding 2D components do not show....unless I'm doing something wrong.

But they still look so nice!

Reset the view to a a smaller scale, and set the view graphics level to medium or fine.

Change the Detail Level of the View to Fine. Then you'll see all the detail within the wall.

    Scott,

Great tip. You guys are such an incredible source. Everyday while I am learning the program I pick up valuable information from this forum. Thanks for the effort.

In my 3D detail, I do not see the mass and/or composition of the wall. The wall shows as 2 paperthin planes, one on the exterior and one on the interior.
Could someone help me?? What am I doing wrong?
(to clarify.... even when I have the detail level to fine, it still shows it empty inside the wall)

What wall type are you using? The example I used was a compound wall type with multiple layers of materials. If you are using "Generic 6" " you will only see the outside edges of the wall, and no 'fill' because there isn't any typically on that wall type.

Are you using Revit 6.1? The views you've seen here are from Revit 7

Yes, I am using a compounded wall (many layers, and yes I am working on 6.1. Is it not doable in 6.1??
