Is there a way to control visibility settings of items in individual saved viewpoints?

I want to hide items like floors or walls in some viepoints but not all. I would also like to change the color and/or transparency of items in some viewpoints without the changes taking effect in all viewpoints.

If you right-click the saved viewpoint and choose Edit, there will be checkboxes that allow you to preserve the attributes of the view, including the material overrides. A screenshot is attached.)

I knew that it was something simple I was over looking. Thanks for the help.

Hi. You can set this as the standard setting under Global Options>Interface>Viewpoint Defaults. Make sure that all the boxes are checked. This sets this as the default behavior so if you do hide something or change an objects color and save the view, it will save those settings. Of course if you change something in an already saved viewpoint, you need to right click on it in the Viewpoint Control Bar and choose update.
