Snaping to ceiling grids

I'm using ADT 2005. I'm xrefing in the architects floor plan and RCP. These are also ADT drawings, I don't know what version he's using. The ceiling is an AEC_CEILING_GRID entity.

Enough preamble, here's my question.

Why can't I snap to the intersections to this grid? I can snap perpendicular, midpoint, etc...

I'm trying to place air diffusers in the ceiling, and right now I have to snap perpendicular in one direction, and then in the other to locate it correctly.

Any ideas?

Use a NODE snap to get the intersection of a ceiling grid.

If you are using ADT why are you not using a mvBlock for the air diffusers. They have cell anchors to place the air diffusers in to the ceiling grid. Then if the ceiling grid moves or is changed the air diffusers will move with the grid. Also by using the cell anchor you can move the air diffusers and they will always align to the grid.
