Trying to change the wall/floor colors of building

I am pretty sure this should be under visibility settings but for the life of me I cannot find walls or floors. I want to change the color of the building(by the way whats a good color?)

Anyone know where this is at?

Right now its showing up as clear wireframe. See attached pic.

your looking in the right place.
There is a little check box at the bottom that says something like "show all catagories".
Also the colors won't show unless the discipline of the linked view is set to "Arch".

dang how do you change just 1 specific wall instead of all the walls, I went under element properties after selecting the wall and clicked under graphics and tried to change it but it did nothing, see pic below and the preview, it doesnt change! What the heck!

by the way, it seems like "Solid Fill" for Default Wall graphic does not work at all. Kinda frustrating, I keep changing it back and forth and cannot get a freaking solid fill...

There are 2 things you need to do.
1. Change the discipline to Architectural or Coordination for the view. (this will show shading)
2. You need to change the material in the structure of the wall not the coarse scale fill pattern.

did #2, but confused about #1, how exactly do you do this? Am I trying to change the element to a certain discipline?

lol I should slap myself. Sorry I found it, it was just under view properties and then changing the discipline. Man today has been a long day for me to miss that...
