Thanks both of you.
The CUI file looks fine.
The support team think there could be something wrong with my registry and have sent over instructions how to completely remove it. Although I don't really have the time to do this this week.
The F1 key is looking for something, just says file not found in a browser window.. The question mark in the top right opens up a browser window and says link broken.
I'll let you know how it goes when I have repeaired the registry and reinstalled.
Unloaded, cleaned the system and registry, went into diagnostic mode, wouldn't load, went back into normal mode, did a clean install....still not working.

Got an answer and solution. phew
Thank you for your reply.
Please accept my appologies to this, I realy could not explain why it did not work even after a reinstallation for the product.
Therefore, I went ahead and cheacked all the 2011 software that I have on my machine, the results are that they all worked just fine when pressing the F1 button.
However, I installed the Structual Detailing 2011 Software on my system, hit the F1 button and I found the same issue as you reported to us.
Therefore, I went back to the Support Team for AutoCAD Structural Detailing and this is what I got from them.
The online help file is not available for the product just yet, so in order to use the help file you would need to do the following steps.
• Open AutoCAD.
• Go to the options.
• Under System deselect use online help from Autodesk website when avalible.
• Specify either default browser or Internet Explorer.
• Navigate then to the files tab and under “Help and Miscellaneous File Names” set the path for the help location to the following. (c:\program files\autodesk\autocad structural detailing 2011\help\index.html)
Please note: this path is to be found when performed a standart installation.
• Close the window with apply and OK.
Test this problem again.
Note: you would have to perfom these settings in AutoCAD and then use the help file in ASD in the appropriate modus. (for example Steel).
The Team for ASD 2011 confirmed to me that the online help, which was not available until now, was lanched this evening on the Autodesk server and will be available to customers in a few days. (Possible from tomorrow).
In order to use the online help file again, you would need to go back into options set the setting under the system tab to use the online help again.
Please advice on the results and let me know if this has worked for you.
Should you need further assistance on this issue please do not hesitate to contact me on this matter.
Thank you for your cooperation on this case.
Best regards,
Thanks for that.
Hm, I did turn off on-line help when I installed and never thought about it again.![]()
