Default Property Set Formula - how to sum mulitiplied values

    Hi

I am using Architecture 2009 and I have a prolem with Property Set Formulas

I try to create a Property Set for spaces. There are 3 definitions:
    1. automatic - BaseArea
    2. manual number of floors - Floors
    3. formula definition (BaseArea*Floors) - TotalArea

It works fine for one object. I would like to get a sum of TotalAreas for several objects.
It would be best to have it in Zone object.
The only solution I know uses Schedule Tables, but it's not very convinient.

    Perhaps someone knows another way?

    Hi

Is it so easy or is it so difficult?

I can't find a solution. If it doesn't seem to be possible - please let me know. It will save me some time. If it is possible - please give me a hint.

    Thanks.

    Hi Antoni,

My initial response is that you would need to use a schedule to do what you want but I must admit that I am not 100% clear as to what you are trying to accomplish.

Is there any way you could post an example drawing with what you have so far and a short narrative as to what you would like it to be?

Sorry I couldn't be more help.

    Hi

    Thanks for your response.

I would like to use Architecture 2009 to do masterplan calculations.
There are plots and buildings. There may be several buildings on one plot. Each building has a given number of floors. FloorArea*NumOfFloors=TotalBlockArea.

What I need is a sum of all TotalBlockAreas which I could further process. For instance -
SumOfAllTotalBlockAreas / PlotArea would give me the IntensityRatio.

At the moment I can only sum TotalBlockAreas using a Schedule Table. Is it possible to get this value using Property Set Formula?

I attached a file with one plot and three buildings.
There is a Zone which adds three blocks. Why does it sum BaseAreas and doesn't add FloorAreas, which are equal to BaseAreas, just named differently?
