    Default checking revit family

    Hello,

    Does anyone knows how can we check an Existing Revit family is created in a coreect Face Based, Ceiling or Wall based,

    Iam checking the QA/QC for family, Is it possible to check while opening the family, i think we are able to know while we are inserting to the project,

    If you open the family - the big grey surface that represents the face/wall/floor/ceiling with have the category of wall/floor/ceiling/etc. for specific hosts and the category of "Extrusion" when it is face hosted. See the picture for what pops up when you hover over the edge.
