2011 Bug - Properties Palette - duplicating family types

I noticed a bug with the new Properties Palette when trying to duplicate a family type. Say I need to place a door, but need to make a new type. I start the Door tool, and it's on the last door I used, which is a different family altogether. So I change to the family I want in the drop-down type selector, then hit Edit Type. When the Type Properties box appears, it's still on the previous door family from when I first started the Door tool! If I cancel out, then hit Edit Type again, then it shows the current door family, which I can then duplicate and name to create a new type.

Anyone else noticed this behavior?

I noticed this same problem... the first time i was creating doors and wondering where the hell they had gone when i clicked ok only to find out i had 5 new doors in the wrong type.

I can confirm this. Has anyone submitted a SR on this? I think the Factory is pretty busy squishing bugs these days
