    To other experienced revit users: -

    If it is difficult for you guys to read my prior appears to be lengthy & complex query. Following is the short & easy version: -

    QUERY
    The Problem is that, while deleting any Floor Layer, Fatal error occurred = [A serious error has occurred. The current action has been cancelled] . Possible Reason & Solution are awaited.

    Hope to get response.

    Is the floor constrained or joined to other elements such as walls, beams, roofs, etc.?
    Try to unjoin it from surrounding elements.

    or is it attached? try detaching it from other elements.

    Another trick is to click the floor, then copy to clipboard, delete the floor which causes
    the crash, then paste it back into the same place.
