I am also having this problem with Revit Arch 2014. My linked file is 'existing' and when I plot, it comes in as little dots/dashes rather than halftone lines like it shows on the screen. It's worse when I plot to half size but when I plot to full size, they become twisty looking. Like they are dashed but the empty part of the dashed line is very light (giving it a 'twisted line' look) This is very fusterating. I've gone into the phasing properties and vv settings. Can anyone help me? Our demo is dashed so our existing can NOT be dashed too.

Hello, I too had this problem yesterday. We have a KIP 3000 printer. The descriptions of the "twisty lines" and dashed lines are exactly what I had. I solved it as follows:
Control Panel> Printers> go into "printing preferences" for the KIP 3000, click on the tab called "printer options" and you will see "output format"
Mine was set to KIPScript. I changed it to KIPGL and it has worked right ever since.
