Default Revit 2011 Upgrade Procedure - Local/Central Files

I am trying to get some input on the best way to approach upgrading my clients to Revit 2011 from 2010.

    My initially thoughts are:

    1. Verify I have a good backup of the 2010 Central File.
    2. Make sure the user has sync'ed their changes to the Central File.
    3. Verify I have a good backup of the 2010 Central File.
    4. Upgrade the 2010 Central File to 2011.
    5. Have the user create a new local file from the upgraded 2011 Central File.
    6. Delete previous local file versions.

I am aware testing will need to take place to make sure that the upgrade process of the 2010 central file did not break anything.

    Input is appreciated.

    Thank You

Lookup "Upgrading Workshared Projects" in the help menu. It will tell you everything you need to know, incuding upgrading links before upgrading the central file. It has also been recommended to detach any links before upgrading.
