    Default Removing Split Faces From Walls

    Title says it all, we had done a split face on the exterior walls to show accent bands of brick and have now changed it to a solid color. Is there a way to remove that split face and revert back to the orginal wall without deleting/redrawing the wall, or is the best solution to paint the split face to match the orginal brick and hide the linework in elevation?

    Thanks in advance

    Select the Region Split line and then do one of 5 things:

    <sarcasm>

    1) Hit the delete key
    2) Hit the backspace key
    3) Right click and then click delete
    4) Click "delete" in the "Modify|Split Face" Ribbon
    5) Type "DE" (yes, there's a keyboard shortcut for delete)

    </sarcasm>

    cheers!

    While that would work on a normal problem, I have an "abby" normal problem lol. The wall was split faced/painted and then unbeknownst to me was changed into a stacked wall. So when I try to remove the rouge material, i cannot seem to get back to the cut. And the material finish in the wall component being used to make up this stacked wall is set correctly, so the split/paint is still overriding it.

    maybe someone split the material in the wall itself....?

    I just checked, you can not convert a wall with a split face (horiz or vert or of any sort) into a stacked wall without it loosing the Split Regions. I would also check in to what cda is saying about the split happening in the wall assembly itself.

    Also, do I know you? The "abby" reference is awfully close to a reference to the bot in our revit chat channel...
