Default anybody know how to make bifold & sliding doors?

    Hi all,

does anybody have any suggestions to create, say, a 5 x panel bifold door assembly of varying width that opens to one side? it would need to look stacked ( or open ) in plan view and maybe closed in a model view....
also on the hit list is an xoo oox slider of varying width.....

thanks for reading & look forward to comments,

    urb

As long as you don't need to show a different open percentage when in either plan or model and simply have it open in plan and closed in model then you could simply use a regular door style with all components turned off, then have custom blocks for a plan view and a model view. You could choose varying widths and the blocks will stretch accordingly, there will be some distortion but as long as the widths aren't too different then it shouldn't be all that noticeable.

Your slider can be done the same way.

check autodesk seek. There's a bunch of different doors there for download. I use some of them in Revit.

They have a Nana wall system that stacks as you are talking about.
