I am having problems using AutoCAD LT 2010 on my machine. Constantly when working with the software at random times my software just seems to crash for no apparent reason, I am keeping a log of what I am doing before the software just crashes on me.
Currently, when I am working with blocks, inserting text and using the polyline command it seems to just all of a sudden close the program. I recieve no prior prompts, there is no lagging or hanging of the system which I am currently using.
My machine meets the minimum system requirements.
DELL Precision PWS380
Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.20 GHz / 3.19GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
Browsing the Autodesk website I have found that there are atleast 2 update patches for the LT 2010 version. However as advised by the following statement, which can be found at the following link .
"Now match up the File version to the update listed below:
1 If proddata.dll is version 18.0.55.0 or 18.0.215.0, use AutoCADLT2010Update2.exe or AutoCADLT2010Update2x64.exe.
2 If proddata.dll is version 18.0.59.0 or 18.0.215.20, use AutoCADLT2010Update2MLD.exe or AutoCADLT2010Update2MLDx64.exe.
3 If proddata.dll is version 18.0.221.0, use AutoCADLT2010Update2SLD.exe."
My version of proddata.dll is version 18.0.309.0. The version I have is not stated in the above paragraph. Does this suggest that the patch may not be required, or that the patch may already be installed on the software that I am currently using? Could you advise on what version I should end up with after installing the patches? Can you advise further on which update patch that I am required to download and install?
