Need a way to set the default border offset for the mtext background mask. Most I've heard from use 1.15 like myself. Why must we reset this every time we create a drawing? No system or enviromental variable or registry hack any of us could find.

This suggestion is very specific to AutoCAD and is more appropriate for the AutoCAD wish list.
