Default Pipe elbow not being created

We've got a mystery on our hands... When we create a pipe with a 90-degree turn, the elbow does NOT show up (see attached image)

The phasing for the view is set as...
    Phase Filter: Show All
    Phase: Existing

...and the phasing for the pipes are set as...
    Phase Created: Existing
    Phase Demolished: New Construction

Any thoughts as to why the elbows aren't showing up?

    Thanks in advance!
    Matt

    Matt,
Are they not even being modeled? It looks as if there isn't even one there, not like there is one, but off.
Is there a 90 defined in the type?
Is the fitting assigned to different phase? If you are in a new construction view and modify existing pipe it will change it's fittings.
Could it be the Revit ini lookup tables?

    Just thinking "aloud"
