DWG export won't open with AutoCAD 2009

I have a sheet with several views, export as DWG file with Revit 2011, open in AutoCAD 2009, have to download DWG True View to convert the export file so it can open in this version of AutoCAD. I open the exported DWG in True View...I have to link all the views to the sheet manually, before I can convert the file?

Did you tell it to export down to 2007? Or did you leave it on the default 2010?

Thank you. That is the problem. I did not specify AutoCAD 2007 in the drop down menu in the File type, in the "Export to CAD" dialog box.
