    Default Elements will be deleted

I have been getting this message randomly in Revit 2011 MEP for tags when moving objects around. For example, I have a lighting fixture with a circuit tag and a fixture type tag. When I use the move command and pick start and finish points, the fixture moves, then I get the warning and it deletes the two tags. Looking into it further, it looks like it is created a new object as the mark number changes (which would make sense why the tags would be deleted). Has anyone else had this problem with phantom element deletion/creation when moving around object? Anyone know of a solution? I have to update 30 floors of minor changes and it is deleting all the tags.

i'm not a big fan of having to re-tag things when you move them. this used to only happen when moving (disjoined) a light off of it's host, if you use offset or the move command (on the same plane or host) or rehost for a wall item, then the tag would move with it. it's been happening to me more often on my first 2011 project, it's deleting tags when just moving a light over one ceiling tile, kind of a pain. might be a bug.

I have been having this issue quite a bit lately. I try to move a branch of ductwork and 20 some tags get deleted! I am so tired of these stupid little problems. I try to move a piece of electrical equipment and the tag on every sheet goes away. All I can do is move the equipment by nudging it a bit at a time with the arrow keys on the keyboard. Of course it does not do this every time. Just now I tried restarting Revit and now the same object which could not be moved previously without deleting tags can be now.
All I had to do was wait 10 minutes for it to open back up...

once you move something with Disjoin, it stays set (which i'm not a fan of at all) move a text note or something with it unchecked to un-set it. not sure if that's what's happening to you, but it has caught me before...
