    Default Several Questions-Frustrating

We have 6 ppl working on one revit file. we keep experiencing problems like:
    1. Dimensions keep changing from one type to another or some dims are gone. I know changing walls or model will make some dimensions gone, but what we experienced are not that. Some one is working on stair sheets, she made sure everything looks right, then closed the view, but next morning or a couple of hours later, the view was screwed up.
    2. some views disappeared. no one deleted anything, after one person saved to central, another saved, then all of a sudden, some view were gone. that happened twice.
    3. Walls are gone. same thing, they just disappeared.

Could anyone give us some hint what happened? What can we do to prevent these from happening? So frustrating
    thanks

It sounds like someone might be over-writing the central file. Each user should create their own local and save to central - not save-as.

    Wink Re: Several Questions-Frustrating

1.Have each user Synch to Central and relinquish all worksets.
2.Have each user close the project and Revit.
3.Have each user delete any local copies on their C: drives
4.Have each user open the Central File and click Create new Local.
5.Have each user Synch to Central, then relinquish.

This should clear up any strange behavior as you described.

Have each user open the Worksharing Monitor to see who has which worksets owned/borrowed. ( If you are not using this feature, you can download/install it
    from the Autodesk Subscription Center.)

    hope that helps.

    cheers

Thanks Cliff. What that Synch do? I have a related question. For another project I am working on, a couple of consultants' model did not set up correctly, so no shared coordinate was set up correctly. I moved their model and try to publish the shared coordinate, the system will give me a message like " the model you moved has already been Synch-ed w/ your model, therefore the move is temporary..." (somthing like that). What could that mean and why?
    thanks
