    Default camera view

Hi, I have a project that I am working on that I have a camera view placed on sheet that I am trying to move but I am unable to select it to move it. Is there something that is preventing me from selecting it?
tried auditing the file and same result.

    Thanks

Make sure the view is still in your browser, then try deleting it off the sheet
and then place it again from the browser onto a new fresh sheet, as a test.

    cheers

Are you trying to move the view on the sheet or move the camera?

I am trying to move it on the sheet. I made the view a little larger and it is now covering some of my titleblock.

I think Cliff means select it from the project browser. Go to the sheet view in the browser, expand it to show the views placed on the sheet and you should be able to delete it from there. Then try to re-place it on the sheet.

Use the Reavel Hidden command to check if the view has been hidden on the sheet. I know it sounds weird but the view still shows even though its hidden. I seen all types of views start behaving very strangely when they have been hidden on the sheet.

Thanks for all of your assistance. The only way I was able to do it was by selecting it in the project browser and removing it from the sheet and then adding it back in. I tried the show hidden items and it didnt show up. again thanks for all of your help everyone.

I think what he means is that once you have placed a camera view the camera location is no longer visible in the plan. Unlike section tags or elevation tags that are automatically created when the view is created the camera disappears and is not visible. It isn't even visible in "Reveal hide/isolate". So do the following:

    1. Open the perspective 3D view.

    2. In the Project Browser, right-click the perspective 3D view name, and select Show Camera.

The camera is selected in all views where the camera is visible, such as plan, elevation, and other 3D views.

(This is from the revit help menu but it still took me a while to find this).
