    Default Setting Section Parameters

I am trying to get a section to have certain view properties when I first cut it WITHOUT USING VIEW TEMPLATES. When I first cut a scetion I always have to go and change the detail level to fine, open view properties and change the disipline to coordination so I can see the architects model, and change the scale (I know I can change the scale before I cut it, but that's still an extra, not needed step).

    Thanks.

Diffent section types can have different view templates built into them to show that view straight aery wit having to adjust them, just setup your section type to suit the correct view template and you wont have to do this each time.

I went into my template file and noticed that the section views were defaulting to "Structural Framing Elevation". Why that and not "Structural Section"? Is there a way to change the default template for ALL detail views seperate from ALL section veiws? When I cut a section and change the default template settings in element properties it doesn't change for the next section I create.

There is an option that if you apply the view template, you can select a checkbox to "always use this template for similar views"
