    Question Additional section on section view

    Let's say you have an alignment and one surface, and you have cut some sections at a few locations.

    Let's also say that you have some survey shots that form a cross section also. In other words they are perpendicular to the alignment.

    How would you go about adding the exact cross section of the survey points to your existing section views?

    Do you have a dataset example I can play with? I have some ideas but I'm not exactly sure how I would go about it yet...

    I ended up constructing a 3Dpoly through the points, then creating a quick profile of it, then exploding the quick profile and then copying the resulting polyline into the real section view. The problem of course is that if you move or change the grid, or otherwise modify the section, the static section line copied in just stays put...
