parametric materials not working

I created my first family, it worked great.

I did the same for this door family, and I can't get the glazing to change materials in the project. I have no clue what I did wrong, and it's giving me a headache.

Can someone please take a look at this and teil me what's going on? It's only my second family, so any other obvious criticisms would be greatly appreciated (to help the learning process).

What you have doneis under the visibility setings (within the family), Medium and Fine "detail" has been turned off for the glass panel- so unless your view is in course mode, the panel doesnt show

Wow, that was simple. I feel like a fool. lol

I do remember turning it off in those modes, but I thought it was view specific. So if I was in plan view when I turned it off, it would only affect the plan view, not all views. Plus the glass panel was still showing in the 3D view, which threw me off.

Lesson learned. Thanks for the help.
