    Unhappy Jumping Attribute Position

I have a drawing with hundreds of attribute elevations in a point block to move around out of the way of other elements. When I use the -ATTEDIT command, and select the elevation attribute of the block and move it to where I want it, the attribute position jumps 10' away. It sometimes takes me 10 tries to get each one where I actually want it. (Acad2000i - yeah, yeah we'll be upgrading soon enough) Is there some internal setting that I inadvertently set doing something else that may have triggered this behavior?

Don't remember if 2000i could do this, but can you highlight the block and use the grips for the attributes and move it that way?
