Default Swimming pool - what about the bottom?

I just created a family for an existing swimming pool that's getting filled in. Creating the sides and curved transitions between shallow and deep ends was easy, using extrusions, sweeps, and swept blends. But now what about the flat bottom portions? It was easy to create in the project by using a floor slab and modify sub-elements. I did this and made it a model group along with the pool family. However I'd prefer it be in the family itself, but it seems like it would be a huge headache trying to make simple sloping, flat solids.

Any suggestions? The pool family (sans sloping bottom) plus the group with the sloped floor is attached.

sloping flat solids could easily be done as a blend laying on its side. the "top" profile is one end, and the "bottom" profile is the other end, at a different elevation.

After opening your family, I did it with a Sweep. The sweep path was the drawn by setting the workplane to the centerline left/right of the family. I then used the view cube to look at a side elevation of the pool, turned on wire frame, and sketched the path to follow the sloping bottom of the pool. Then after finishing the path sketch, I created a rectangular profile by picking the lines on the shallow end of the pool. Then finish the profile sketch, and finish the sweep sketch. I then discovered that the plan view of the bottom of the pool was smaller on the deep end. I used a void extrusion to cut the shape of the new pool-bottom-sweep.

Almost right, but the deep end has 2 drains with the floor sloping to it. Still seems like a floor in the project is easiest.

drains? you never mentioned drains! are the drains really that important to show, with the slope to them?

ok, where are they located and i'll look into it.

The RVT file above shows everything correctly, using floors for the sloping bottom portions.
