Default Drawing list & Key Plans

    Hello Everyone,

I am very new to Revit. In fact I have not yet work on
a revit project in my office. But I have read/watch a lot
    of tutorials, blogs, etc.

I edited a titleblock family to include a key plan. I added
a parameter called key plan. Family parameter->Visible,
Paramerter type->Yes/No. I changed the key plan elements
    (lines) to this parameter.

I loaded the titleblock family back to my project and it works fine. I
can turn the visibility of the key plan on or off in the sheets.

    My question:
Is there a way to schedule this so I can just do it in the schedule
instead of going to each sheet & turn off the visibility of key plan
if the sheet does not required it.

I created a "drawing list" schedule but I dont know how to hook-up
the titleblock parameter. Can this be done?

Any help or ideas will be appreciated. Thanks.

If you had made the parameter a shared parameter, you could have added it to the model as a project parameter which can be used in schedules.

    Robert,

I'm having no luck with shared parameters.
    This is what I did.
    1. I drew the key plan in the titleblock family but found out I could not create a shared
parameter within an annotative family. The shared parameter button was grey-out.
    (I erased the key plan).

    2. I drew the key plan in a detail component. Then I was able to create a shared arameter.
Parameter Group: Titleblock, parameter name: Key Plan.
I changed the key plan elements to the shared parameter. I saved the detail component
as a family. Then tried to load it to the titleblock (annotative family) but it did
    not allow me.

What am I doing wrong. I must admit this was a good exercise for me about parameters.
If you get a minute could please briefly explain/instruct me on what to do.

I think scheduling key plans for sheets would be very powerful.
