    Default PDF conversion using Autodesk Design Review (ADR) 2010 Viewer in VB6

    Hi

    Is it possible to convert a DWG file to PDF using Autodesk Design Review (ADR) 2010 Viewer
    using vb6. If so shall i get the functions and api's to be used please?

    My Requirement

    Convert dwg file to Pdf
    1. The path where the dwg file resides is known
    2. I should be able to specify the path to which the converted pdf file get saved.

    Please help me.

    No, Design Review only opens DWFx files.

    It sounds like you are looking for a cheap way to automate producing PDF files from DWG files. I don't think you are going to find that looking at Autodesk's free tools.

    If you do not have an AutoCAD application then disregard.

    If you do have an AutoCAD application, however, (2009 or newer I think?) there is a built in PDF driver for plot / publish. If your version does not have that available, you can download a PDF driver (DeskPDF is Free), setup a quick PC3 file, then you can plot / publish straight to PDF from DWG.
