My firm is thinking about making the switch from adobe to bluebeam and I am curious if anybody uses bluebeam for their PDF creation. I could use some feedback about how it compares with adobe as well as if there are any issues with printing.

Our office has completely changed over to bluebeam from Adobe. Our engineers found it more user friendly for doing pdf mark up for shop drawings. They also love the ability to scale measurement off of the drawings.
We have not experienced any difficulties with the current versions of bluebeam. We have been using it for 2 years now.
Our firm has been using Bluebeam for many years. We create full size pdfs for clients then print a half size from the same pdf for in house use with ease. Also marking up pdfs for shop drawings is a huge time saver.
