    Default Embed 3D on Website

Anyone know of a way or any tools out there that will let you embed a 3D, rendered object on a website? The idea is to have a building, in full rendered display, that someone can go to the website and interact with (spin, zoom, etc).

Perfer to do directly out of Revit (tried 3d DWF, but it looses any textures and just looks like a standard Revit Shaded w/ Edges view) but have 3ds max available to use to create the object as well. I'm guessing it will take a third software to create and embed properly.

Not my area of expertise but I remember sitting in on a Revit training meeting with imagin-it technologies and our IT / ERP Designer asked the same question. All I remember was the Revit Dude say "....Export to Html...". The IT guy's face looked like a lightbulb turned on, shaking his head slowly up and down murmuring "......hmmmmm....."

    Good luck with all that!

    Hey there,
Before 2009, you could do a spherical "panorama" rendering which would allow you to spin and twirl you rendered interior views....very cool! Then, when we lost Accurender, we lost that feature. It has been on my wish list ever since!
    I miss it.
But, I love the new rendering engine......win some, loose some.
    Best of luck
    Steve

Havn´t found any website apps that will get the model straight out of revit, but since you have 3D Max, I´d suggest that you have a look at http://turntool.com/

Give us a shout, if you find something that will work straight from Revit

Turntool looks fantastic. How interesting. 800 Euro, but free if you can live with the Turntool logo on your images (I don't know how annoying that is). Current plugins for 3ds Max, Cinema...and ArchiCAD (what's up with THAT!?).

Munkholm, nice website. But, since I can't read Danish...do you have Turntool, or used it?

Danish ?? When i open the link it´s in English...
    Anyway, here´s a link straight to a Showcase: http://www.turntool.com/2005/index.h...t_brick&lan=uk

I don´t have Turntool, but will be the first to buy it, if they ever get a plugin for Revit (I don´t have 3D Max)
Let Turntool know that they need to create a Revit plugin @ support@turntool.com - Maybe they´ll wake up, and see that it would be a clever move, if they get enough inquires

Horizontal Glue has a lot of potential, but its not Rendered. Its a DWF iteration. But the UI is great, how how infant the program still is...
