You could also use Navisworks Freedom.
Here's a link to a site with a showcase and the webprogramming needed: http://www.aec-area.co.uk/NW/NW-Demo.htm

I checked out Navisworks, I want to say a year or so ago. It was expensive, and realtime rendering aspect was cartoonish, if memory serves. I suspect it has a big software footprint, too.

Please correct me if I'm out of date on this.

I recently looked into this for our company's web site and compared 3 free engines that allow you to embed 3D models. You can read my full article here:

I found that was the most versitile and even had plugins that would allow you to export directly from frequently used software (such as Autocad & 3ds Max). There are currently still issues with going directly from Revit to Sketchfab that I outline in the article and as far as I found 3dsMax was necessary to for converting into file types that display correctly in the embedded 3D viewer.

Revizto is the best option I've found. Has abil. to embed on your website, tho I haven't tried that.

Doesn't A360 have a 3D DWF viewer built into it? It also has a sweet 3D explode feature by family type too! Export your 3D revit view to dwf (not dwfx) and drag and drop into your cloud A360 account.
