    Default object visibility

If a view has a linked file set to custom and various objects turned on, shouldn't the same view visibility be set to that when it's synchronized and opened by a different user? That doesn't seem to be happening in all cases here. Is there a setting for that? Any ideas? Thanks.

Yes, linked file visibility settings are view specific. So if you change it in one view, SWC, and another user opens the same view, he/she should see the same settings.

Of course this only applies if said user opened the central file with the Make Local File option checked, or if the existing local file was opened and worksets reloaded.
