Dynamic Door Block

Hi All,
I have done a dynamic block for a door which I expect to behave based on some parameters and constraints. I have attached the block here. When the vertical flip parameter is used, the block becomes a mess by itself, by stretching the shutter length. Could anyone go through this and tell me what went wrong?

Hi-
I had a look at your block. In order to control your door width you have a 90 degree angle stretch, which is very clever as long as it is in the upright position. When you flip your door across the horizontal axis, your stretch action for the door width is stretching 90 degrees but in the wrong direction. I would suggest that you abandon the flip across the horizontal axis and replace it with a rotate about your base point. A rotate in combination with the flip about the vertical axis should give you all the positions you need. Good luck!

On second thought, that doesn't fix the problem. I'll keep looking at it.

I'm not sure what caused this problem but when I deleted the flip parameters and then recreated them, they worked like they were supposed to. You might try redoing your flip paramters to see if that fixes it for you. If not, report back and maybe someone else can have a look at it.

for sure you will find your mistake by reading that lesson, probably you did not select all objects when applied Flip action.
