as goes for the "kill process" option. you only kill one sheet, after that the next sheets generates a new process.
if you didn't save your work prior to printing the only solutions is:
get a coffee, kick back, fire up YouTube or something and enjoy the ride... (o, and hit Cancel from time to time)
FYI.
ALWAYS SAVE before you print.
Yeah I know, I usually do since I've had print-related crashes before.
Right-click on the Adobe Printer in Devices and Printers (Control Panel) > Printing Preferences > Adobe PDF Settings tab > select the option in the combo box Adobe PDF Output folder / Browse to folder.
Here is the Windows Registry
The (default) leaf is set to 1 (prompt for File Name)
Change it to the index for the desired value. I changed it to c:\AdobePDF, which is the third leaf - therefore the (default) would be set to 3.

Avoid lengthy or unintended print jobs. If you choose to print multiple views and sheets to individual PDF files, you cannot cancel the print job once it starts. A new message warns you of this issue and allows you to cancel the print job before it starts. Instead, consider printing the views and sheets to a single PDF file. See Troubleshooting: Printing Views and Sheets.
