Rebar Family
I'm trying to create a slab reinforcing family that basically shows up as a line with hooks on either side and has upper and lower reinforcing text on either side of the line and i want to be able to control the text through the instance properties of the rebar family . I have the main family in which i have the lines for the rebar drawn and i have 2 more label families for the upper and lower labels. In the 2 label families i have labels made for upper and lower text and i've got parameters made for both. For some reason, when I load everything into my project, there's a disconnect with the parameters and labels and the changes that i make through the instance properties dialog box of my main rebar family don't show up. For instance, when i type in 20@250T in my upper label parameter under indentity data, my rebar family stays as a question mark. I'm starting to lose my patience so if anyone has any suggestions or solutions, i would very much appreciate it.
