    Default Levels and roofs

How do I create another level for roofs?

Cut a section in your project
    Select an existing level
Copy to appropriate height (eg 4000mm above first level)
    Lock dimension
Right click on new level and access properties
    Rename to "Roof"

    Go to "view" ribbon
Click on 'plan views' and create new plan to 'roof' level.

    Done.

Thank you karalon10 for your reply. I had not realized anyone would post to my question. I am very new to Revit and although I have taken some courses, the instructor was too quick in going through the material to be covered for me to take in and remember all that we learned.

Pardon me for this rather elementary question:
How do I cut a section through my project? What do you mean by that?
