    Cool Linear Releases

    I am tryin to assign linear releases to a panel.

    Is it possible to assign linear releases to a single panel supported on bar elements? I want the panel to be simply supported between the bars without inducing torsional forces with these bars.

    Many Thanks

    Scott

    @length zero,

    Thankyou for your response. But I'm afraid I don't understand. I don't know how to apply the releases to the panel. Can you give me any pointers?

    If you are talking for releases, you dont need to apply point supports.
    You must define linear release.
    I check your model but i dont know what are interested to check

    I understood you. but it seems as though the screen supports. it was not any releases. but it seems support. and then during analysis automeshing shell this nodes assign itself support (base). its possible? or is this a bug??
