Grade Beams not plotting

My grade beams show up in my view. They show up on my sheet. They won't plot or show up on my print preview, but for some reason they are hatched.

Anyone know why?

Try using "Raster" setting in the plot settings.

Another way might be to turn on an underlay of the Level ( Foundation )
so you see the grade beams below, then use the linework tool to pick them and use hidden lines.

That's how I have it set up now. And that's how I changed the lines to hidden.

Why would the preview not show what's on the sheet?

I changed the lines from <hidden> to <by category>, and the grade beams show up now withouth any hatch. But, the slab edge still shows hatched for some reason.

Is the cut plane slicing thru the slab edges?

Can you turn off slab edges, perhaps in a View Template for all views of that kind?

Or, turn of the cut pattern for concrete material in that view?

It's weird. The only linetype that will show up is by category. Any other one won't show.

The cut plane is slicing through the slab edges and grade beams.

This is gonna screw with me all weekend! lol

The thing I don't get is that it looks perfect in the view and in the sheet. It just won't plot what I'm seeing.

You might try unjoining then joining geometry as in this example

I know your problem is in Plan, but maybe this would fix it?

Nope, but that did fix the problem I was having with the slab edges not cleaning up with the foundation floor in sections!!

And no, I won't be working at all this weekend. But it will be in the back of my mind. I hate not being able to figure stuff out. Although, once I get in the pool with a beer in my hand, it will probably be a distant memory. lol

I just realized this is happening on all my projects I've started. Apparantly I did something wrong when I created my grade beams and slab edges.

Can someone take a look at this and help me out please? I can get it to plot using lines by category, but I need to show dashed or hidden lines for my beams.

I created a new Level called Foundation. ( renamed 1st floor to Fin. Flr. )

Then opened Fin. Flr. view, turned on underlay of Foundation Level
oriented as Reflected ceiling.

Then used linework tool to create hidden lines for grade beams.

Then turned off underlay.

I tried what you said, but it didn't work. Plus, my finished floor doesn't show the grade beams. The foundation plan does.

So I opened the foundation plan, set the bottom of footing as an underlay and changed the line types. Turned off the underlay and did a print preview, and no grade beams still.

Although, my print preview works on yours.
