Angry Rotated Fitting Disconnects when Flipped.

For example when I draw a pipe, place a slightly Modified Sanitary Tee in it, I go to a section, and rotate the fitting so it is facing up 45 degrees. Somewhere in when I rotate the fitting up my fitting flips to the opposite direction. When I click the flip button, to flip it back it disconnects my fitting from my pipe. So I move my fitting back in line with, my pipe and try and draw a pipe off it Revit tells me it's too great of an angle and wont draw. I've tried multiple combinations of trying to connect these and none have worked. Also for the modified fitting all I did duplicate and modify a sanitary tee family so the side connector's flow direction is out. Any Suggestions?

If you want to come off the top of the pipe, than model it in section.
You can also model the higher pipe and connect it into the lower in plan, by dragging or drawing.
You can also pick the higher pipe and type (CS) create similar than draw from the lower. It will connect and run up vertical.

Rotating connected families can (almost always) and will give you unexpected (expected) results.
