    Default Rotate Project North

    Hi,

We have a project that has been modelled in True North (with origin moved within 2Km radius). Users have been using scopebox to get orthogonal views (instead of project north). So when I go into a plan view and switch off scopebox everything shows in True North. When I change Orientation to Project North the plan stays at the same orientation.
The angle between Project North and True North is 37.580.

When I go into "Project North" orientation and Roate Project North by that angle it rotates True North as well.

I also tried linking this central file into a blank project file in which "shared coordinates" are established and moving/rotating central file to its location and "Publish Coordinates" to central file hoping that will push coordinates to central file. But it doesn't.

I have tried all options but it doesnt seem to work. Can someone please help?

The project is in Revit 2011 with workset enable. I am working in central file to change this orientation.

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Regards

Might be better to turn on a crop region, select it, and rotate the view, for the views you want orthoganal. Take a look at this thread.
