One user or at one workstation that the user is using? If the user logs in at another workstation does everything work? I would first look at the browser on the users workstation then the network connections for errors or issues.
Thanks for the help. The User has dual monitors and on the second monitor. For some reason the toggles are locked for some reason??? If the window is on the first monitor it works fine. I know of three Users of many with this issue.
Thanks again
This is something snarky with the MapGuide 6.x activex module. I have several peicese of software besides the mapguide viewer that perform differently depending on which monitor they're on.
As the admin for our County's GIS server I tell people they have one of 2 choices because autodesk has not updated the drivers in 3+ years. The choices are:
1 - Pull the browser window to the main monitor
2 - Oddly enough, the layer boxes can be toggled via the spacebar on the 2nd monitor when the rodent doesn't want to work.

Tom
Working on it. Upgrading from 6.x that is. MGE 2011 still has stability and performance issues but I might have to put it out there anyway.
My stability issues seem to revolve around the license component of MGE. After being operational for 2 months the license manager became inoperational after installing the most recent set of MS updates. Hand to completely uninstall and reinstal all MGE components to correct. I would drop back to MGOS but non-native support for mrSID imagery keeps me from that area.
Performance is a completely different issue. MG 6.x does circles around MGE in the raster dept in my opinion.
